Castle Gorge Hike – July 2025

It has been some time since we have hiked, but we made this sterling hike in the Magalies mountains, called Castle Gorge. It is a bot of a climb, but once you have reached the top, it a nice slow download hill to the Piranha Pool, and then a little bit further you get the waterfalls. Absolutely well worth the bit of climbing. A rest next to the pools before heading back is just the best. The hike is about 11-12km, depending what you decide to go and see.

We will definately be bask to try some of the other routes.
